O'Donnell, Ficenec, Wills & Ferdig (OFWF) is pleased to announce that Annette Otteman has joined the firm as a CPA. Ms. Otteman is an AICPA Certified Public Accountant and a Quickbooks ProAdvisor. She is a member of KAADA and the Nebraska Society of CPAs. She has extensive corporate leadership and consulting experience that includes personal and business tax returns, human resources (recruitment, payroll, and benefits), strategic planning, and financial statement/budget preparation and analysis.
Throughout her career, Ms. Otteman has learned how to set goals, work hard, be adaptable, and the importance of developing strong relationships. She attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where she obtained her B.S. in Finance/Agriculture and developed her passion for Husker sports. Ms. Otteman later went on to earn her MBA and Master of Accounting from the University of Nebraska - Omaha. Ms. Otteman received her first career break as a property accountant at LaSalle Partners, a Chicago-based National Real Estate Management Company where she managed a portfolio that included the Empire State Building.
Ms. Otteman is involved in the community with St. Stephen the Martyr Annual Fund-Raising Campaign and was previously involved as a member of the Aksarben Rough and Ready Rodeo Committee, a member of the Alpha Delta Pi House Corp Board, and Treasurer for Susan G. Komen in Nebraska.
In her spare time, Ms. Otteman is very family-oriented and she, her husband Greg, and her two daughters Zoe and Kassidy can usually be found cheering on their favorite sports teams. Her love for horses is just one of her many passions. Ms. Otteman also enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and interior design. She wants to be known for connecting with people on a personal level, sharing a vision and empowering them to participate in achieving that vision.
